Remind me what the plan is...

Oh, yeah...that's right! Write...write and when I get tired take a break and write some more....

That being said, I'm currently directing my energy toward my 1st love (after my family of course) Art! I have created a new blog and I'm working to finish a couple of pieces for the Steubenville Art Association's Spring Exhibit.

Looking Back.............and living in the moment............

I bartend at a little place in town and Wednesday night my husband runs karaoke there. Last night was a great night. We had a lot of good singers. Those that weren't singing well they still enjoyed there friends and the music. I was having so much fun I almost forgot to call, "Last Call".

Howard is an older man of an undetermined age. If I had to guess I would say he is in his late 70's. He had been quietly observing the last round of pot shots and put downs as my husband warned his friends not to flirt with me to much after he had gone. Howard looked at me and said, "You'll look back at these times as the best days of your life."

You know what, I already do. Each day is a gift and if you really live in the moment every day is the best day of your life. Thank you for reminding me, Howard.

25 Random Things About Me...

1. I thought my favorite color was green until I looked in my closet and realized I had many more blue shirts than green.

2. I am an artist.

3. I love to sing.

4. I have been married only once.

5. I believe in "Til death do us part". If he doesn't then it could turn into a major health issue.

6. My mother is a minister's wife.

7. I am suffering through my first round of empty nest syndrome... 1 down and 3 to go.

8. I love to research different topics of interest on the internet...

9. This leads to brainstorming and more internet research...

What's the point?

What's the point? Well, the point is this...several people have asked me if I write. My answer is usually, "Not really". Except for today...today my answer is, "Okay, I'll give it a shot!"
